Used for trouble shooting certain situations. Also no matter which way that i flipped my tank switch, i had about 5v of power to the plug on the top of the fuel tank on the drivers side. Keep following and you will see it connect at firewall block. After you simplify the wiring harness by removing everything that you currently have starter wiring, alternator wiring, temp sendor and oil sending unit you should be down to a 5 wire hookup as you stated above. Now the only thing is the pumps. Haven't thought bout the electronic spark control. The right tank works, however the the fuel gauge does not register fuel. Are you going to keep the electronic spark control or do you just want a stand alone tbi harness? My test light at the relay test lead does not come on unitl the engine stops cranking and then the relay clicks and the ligt comes on for about 2 seconds. Only purpose of grounds is to save wire with a very bad side effect of causing electrolysis that causes corrosion as most metals are dissimilar. The right tanks lines go into a pump and up to the engine. Also check out and I'm sure you'll find a harness.

Many of the wires are standardized colors regardless of engine or year, as long as the same design is being carried over. Whether or not the yard will sell just the harness is another thing. Someone hacked it up before i got the truck and this is going to be my daily driver so i need to have the fuel gauges and dual tanks working if i can. Also, harnesses out of '93? When it is not plugged in, the gauge is pinned at the 3 o'clock position. All of a sudden no fuel. Above it was noted that the wire from switch to power split 2 ways at firewall. Hookups to the Blazer's harness the 1992 was a manual tranny 1. Lemme ask these questions in case someone does know the answer. But certainly is a major source of problems that could have been avoided. When the engine is running the computer will do everything. So they must have frozen from sitting dual tanks. So if someone would happen to know of another place that makes one would be of some help.
This K5 does not have hydroassist, so I need to feed vaccuum to the brake booster. Everything then was working fine just wanted to restore it a bit. I would stick to factory locations. No blown fuses and all grounds hooked up and the guages all read zero so they are getting power. You will need the oil pressure switch as far as I know. But maybe throuhgout the sandblasting and the painting one got ripped off. Major problem due to how much i drive.
